EK Ventures, LLC was founded in early 2001 by the husband and wife team of Evan & Kari Leong, hence the “EK”. The endeavor was a culmination of the couple's previous decade of business experience. The couple had just left their positions with a mortgage and real estate firm in California. When the Leong's returned to Hawaii they decided to once again open their own business using the lessons they had learned along the way.

EK Ventures, LLC started as a marketing, sales and distribution company specializing in niche markets. We source products that are popular and prevalent in a geographic area and market them in areas where they are not. EK Ventures concentrates on established markets and products with a successful track record and offer customers added value through technology and distribution. EK Ventures, LLC is a conglomeration of numerous strategic alliances and key relationships. This has allowed for the company to be profitable from its inception.

In recent times, EK Ventures, LLC has changed its focus to that of Social Enterprise. We are now concerned with sustainable companies that do well and do good at the same time. Our myriad of newer companies all share the same vision. That vision is to make a profit while improving our community. The support has been overwhelming and we can’t wait to see what the future holds.
